ABUS | uGrip Bordo 5700 Folding Lock

ABUS has sent me several locks in past few months to test out and I’m still going through the motions of giving each lock its undivided attention. One lock I wanted to test immediately was the ABUS uGrip Bordo 5700 folding lock because it’s unique construction and look. First off, this lock should be either used as a secondary lock to your high level security lock or used alone in a low security area for that quick grab and go.

The ABUS uGrip Bordo 5700 is very light and folds up easily into a compact shape that won’t horde tons of room in your messenger bag or backpack. It also includes a holster that can easily be secured to your bike frame. When unfolded… you can virtually lock your bike to any stationary object on the street. It also works as a buddy system lock because we know how are friends always seem to forget their locks.

I had fun with this lock and for low security purposes… it does the job and looks intimating at a glance.
