Stelbel | Ortica Track Frameset

Stelbet introduces the Ortica track frameset… featuring Columbus tubing and wicked dropouts.

Our philosophy has always been that, for a frame to be truly competitive, it has to me made to measure, balanced to the physique of the rider and adapted to their needs. The Ortica is the perfect expression of Italian craftsmanship and enormous attention has been paid to every detail – both technical and aesthetic.

Born in the velodrome, the Ortica is built to convey confidence and stability, and high speed or sudden changes of direction can be handled with ease thanks to the frame’s racing character.

At the front, the Ortica features a carbon fork made specifically for this model, with a 40mm rake for sharp, responsive handling. The 46mm headset is fully integrated, another characteristic detail of Stelbel’s modern range. In the rear, the frame’s elegant seat stays and unique steel dropouts not only improve handling and power transmission but also give the frame an iconic visual appeal.

Special double and triple-butted Columbus tubing is used, and as ever with Stelbel, TIG welded to ensure the highest-possible performance. Our modern frames are all completely protected from oxidation thanks to our state-of-the-art cataphoresis process, and each one is custom built upon order, meaning the geometry is adaptable to the needs of each client.
