Yesterday I received this email:

“I would like to inform you that I may have unintentionally purchased the bike you are missing.... a week and a half ago I purchased private party a Bianchi Pista Concept for the price of $450.00 cash and today I went online and saw your posting. As I mentioned I did pay $450 for the bike and had no prior knowledge that the bike was stolen. Having said that I do not want to be out what I am into it for.  You may get back to me via this e-mail address.”

Well, I’m happy to say that this is my bike... minus the missing front gold H Plus Son rim that was laced to a low-flange phil Wood hub. Hopefully, I will get a reply or call from this person who sent me this email.
