I never knew how much I would fall in love with this hub until I actually held it in my hand. My gawd... it's a beauty! It only took me a nanosecond to decide this was going to be my next hubset. Its super light and built to last As I held the Chub in one hand... I placed a low-flange Phil Wood track hub in my other. The Phil Wood weighed 5x more than the Chub... NO SHIT!
Big thanks to Chris from Chub for making me see the light =) This hub is proudly going to Jake Ricker who recently had his 3Rensho stolen (along with my bike)... which was rocking this hub.

Phil Wood Limited Edition Track Hubs

These hubs will be released exclusively to Bike Shops on April 1, 2009 in celebration of Phil Wood's 38th Anniversary. Only 100 sets will be available in the United States. These hubs will have a 3.5" flange with a custom slotting design. Please do not call Phil Wood & Co for information on these hubs unless you are a Bicycle Shop.
They will only be available in 32 and 36 hole, single fixed, and in a 120mm spacing. No other options will be made available.
