Jason Finn and I are heading out to Europe in the first week of June. Armed with Kagero fast bikes and cameras... we hope to visit as much as we can in two weeks. We are looking forward to visiting all of our friends, partners in crime, and bike shops galore.

Krys Blakemore Recovery Fund

I'm a little late on this post, but for those of you who know Krys Blakemore... she was hit by a motorist on March 15th. Krys is a sponsored rider for EigthInch and is a bike mechanic at 718 Cyclery in Brooklyn, NY. After major surgery, she is unable to walk, work or ride her bike. Her rehab period will be extensive, but a full recovery is planned.

Joe Nocella @ 718 Cyclery set up a fund raiser to help offset medical cost and lost wages. Leader Bikes will be raffling a 722 Heritage Frame @ 718 Cyclery and proceeds will go directly to Krys' recovery fund.

After the Wolfpack Hustle's Marathon Crash Race in Los Angeles, Rudy Melo from The 5th Floor (UK) made his way down to San Diego. During his visit @ Leader HQ today, he snapped this photo showing the second of run of 2011 Kagero framesets have finally arrived for the US market.

New PEDAL Consumption Website

We would like to welcome you all to the new and improved PEDAL Consumption website. It took some convincing, but we finally made the jump to Wordpress. Terrence Patrick of Heavy Pedal had a huge role in making this site come together through his vast resources.

Due to the transition from a Mac-based website program to Wordpress... all comments made from 1/01/12 - 02/13/2012 were lost. Sorry.

Anyhow... have fun and we hope you enjoy it.
